Welcome to Skitzly - Where Stories Live! These guidelines help keep our platform safe, creative, and welcoming for all creators and fans.

What Skitzly Is For

Skitzly is built for storytellers, comedians, filmmakers, and creative influencers to share skits, short films, mini-series, and livestreams. We celebrate creativity, humor, and authentic storytelling.

✅ Allowed Content

We welcome:

  • Comedy skits and parodies

  • Short films and cinematic content

  • Web series and mini-series episodes

  • Storytelling and narrative content

  • Behind-the-scenes creator content

  • Educational or tutorial videos

  • Live performances and Q&A sessions

  • Family-friendly entertainment

  • Mature humor (with appropriate warnings)

❌ Prohibited Content

We do not allow:

Sexual Content

  • Nudity or sexually explicit material

  • Pornographic content of any kind

  • Sexual services or solicitation

  • Sexualized content involving minors (zero tolerance)

Violence & Harm

  • Graphic violence or gore (outside of clearly fictional/comedic context)

  • Content promoting self-harm or suicide

  • Instructions for creating weapons or explosives

  • Animal abuse or cruelty

Illegal Activities

  • Content promoting illegal activities

  • Drug manufacturing or distribution

  • Hacking, fraud, or financial scams

  • Copyright infringement or stolen content

  • Sale of regulated goods (weapons, drugs, etc.)

Hate & Harassment

  • Hate speech targeting race, religion, gender, orientation, disability, etc.

  • Harassment, bullying, or doxxing

  • Violent threats or incitement

  • Impersonation or identity theft

Spam & Manipulation

  • Spam, malware, or phishing

  • Fake engagement or artificial inflation

  • Misleading metadata or clickbait

  • Off-platform payment requests (bypassing Skitzly)

Content Ratings & Warnings

Label your content appropriately:

  • General Audiences: Safe for all ages

  • Teen+: Mild language, suggestive humor

  • Mature: Strong language, adult themes, dark comedy

  • Sensitive: Violence, disturbing themes (in fictional/artistic context)

Creators must use content warnings for mature or sensitive material.

Monetization Rules

To monetize on Skitzly, you must:

  • Own rights to all content you upload

  • Be 18+ years old

  • Comply with all platform guidelines

  • Not mislead subscribers about content

  • Honor all subscription and PPV promises

You may not:

  • Request payments outside Skitzly to avoid fees

  • Share account access with subscribers

  • Offer content that violates these guidelines behind paywall

  • Use deceptive pricing or recurring charges

First Post Approval

New creators' first 1-5 posts require admin approval to ensure:

  • Content fits platform guidelines

  • Quality meets community standards

  • Creator understands the platform

After approval, you can post freely (but we still monitor for guideline violations).

Enforcement

Violations may result in:

  1. Warning: First-time or minor infractions

  2. Content Removal: Specific posts deleted

  3. Temporary Suspension: 7-30 days, no uploads or monetization

  4. Permanent Ban: Serious or repeated violations

  5. Legal Action: Illegal content reported to authorities

We consider:

  • Severity of violation

  • Intent (accidental vs. deliberate)

  • Repeat offenses

  • Community impact

Reporting Content

If you see content that violates these guidelines:

  1. Click the "Report" button on the post

  2. Select violation category

  3. Provide details (optional but helpful)

  4. Our team reviews within 24-48 hours

False reports may result in account penalties.

Copyright & DMCA

  • Only upload content you own or have rights to use

  • Respect music licensing and fair use

  • DMCA takedown requests: [dmca@skitzly.com]

  • Repeat copyright violations = account termination

Privacy & Safety

Creators can:

  • Geo-block content by region

  • Enable 2FA security

  • Control who can comment/message

  • Block specific users

Never share:

  • Personal contact info publicly

  • Login credentials

  • Payment info outside secure channels

Age Requirements

  • Creators: Must be 18+ to monetize

  • Subscribers: Must be 18+ to purchase subscriptions/tips

  • Minors appearing in content must have guardian consent

Changes to Guidelines

We may update these guidelines as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced via email and platform notifications.
